Final Fantasy XVI Gets Two DLCs, Including One Today

Square Enix has announced two expansions for Final Fantasy 16, the first of which will debut today.

Two DLCs for the action RPGFinal Fantasy XVI were announced at The Game Awards.

  1. DLC #1: Echoes of the Fallen - this DLC will go on sale today (it was reported at TGA that it's already available, but so far the product card hasn't appeared on the PlayStation Store). The expansion is set before the finale of the base game.
  2. DLC #2: The Rising Tide - in turn, will be released next spring.

Recall that Final Fantasy XVI was released on June 22, this year. Currently, the game is available exclusively on PlayStation 5. There are also plans for a PC release, but for now it is not known when we can expect it.

The game was received very warmly. On Metacritic Final Fantasy XVI has an average rating of 87%. The game was even more appreciated by our editor, who gave it a rating of 9.5/10. In the first week after release, the title found more than three million buyers.
