'Old love never dies,' is what I said to myslef when Electronic Arts winks at FIFA, saying that it does not rule out a renewed cooperation. It turns out that EA would love to see the official World Cup in its new game series called EA Sports FC .

During the Bloomberg Screentime conference in Los Angeles, Laura Miele, president of EA Entertainment, admitted, that the company will look for ways to enter partnerships in this field. Vice president of EA Sports FC David Jackson said in an interview with Bloomberg Businessweek that the World Cup every four years is the only thing that can't be done without some kind of deal with the organization. As you may recall, the competition has been a regular feature of the FIFA series.

The cooperation between the two parties lasted more than thirty years, but it could not be extended because the studio was unable to reach an agreement with FIFA on financial matters. Electronic Arts decided to establish a new brand instead, namely EA Sports FC. In it, the developers took the liberty of making changes that were previously said to have been blocked by FIFA. Nevertheless, the inability to add the biggest event in the soccer world to the game can definitely affect the popularity of the title.

Let me remind you that the next World Cup will be held in 2026 in Canada, Mexico and the United States.

Today he tries his hand at e-commerce and marketing, while also supporting the Newsroom on weekends, which allows him to continue cultivating old passions.
