Last March, it was announced that an anime called Wind Breaker, based on the manga by Satoru Nii, would be created. CloverWorks, which co-produces such series as SPY x FAMILY and DARLING in the FRANXX, is responsible for the adaptation, so we can say that the series is in good hands.

Anime Wind Breaker will take on the story of Haruka Sakura, who is only interested in the strongest, while he wants nothing to do with the weaklings. He has just started attending Furin High School, known as a school for degenerates who use their strength to protect their city from anyone who threatens it. Haruka, however, doesn't want to be a hero or belong to any team, he only cares about the title of strongest, which he wants to win for himself.

Wind Breaker is scheduled to premiere on April 4, 2024 in Japan. It is unknown when and where the TV series will be available in other countries.

A second trailer has just been released for this upcoming action series, which could be another hit this year. The manga was well received by readers, so if the anime maintains this level, it's quite possible that it will be popular.
