The AALHA 2009 conference will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at the Chaparral Inn Suites, 5001 N. Scottsdale Road.

At this time, we need people to participate in our Conference Committee meetings. Our meetings are held at Barb Elliott's office at 4801 S. Lakeshore Dr., #201, Tempe. Our January meetings will be on Monday, January 5 and 19 from 2:30 to 4:30 PM. We need vendors to participate. If you know of a business who is interested in having a vendor table at our conference, please ask them to contact Barb Elliott at 602-206-3447 for details.

Our January meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 28 at 1:30 PM at the Area Agency on Aging. Our speaker will be Tricia Zahn fro Hearts for Hospice.

Our February meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 25 at 1:30 PM at the Area Agency on Aging. Board Member Barb Elliott will do a short presentation on preparing your home for sale, then we convene a Q&A session to help members with their concerns.

On December 4, AALHA hosted its Holiday Party at the Foundation for Senior Living's Caregiver House. Members and guests alike enjoyed great food, interesting conversation and beautiful weather on the patio. Congratulations and thanks to the board members who made this fun afternoon possible.
