AALHA Member Testimonials

AALHA has been receiving some very positive feedback from our members, that the Board of Directors want to share. This section will remain as a permanent piece of our News page and will be amended as additional comments are received.

Gaile Dixon, of Dream Catcher Assisted Living Homes, was in need of a caregiver, so we sent an email call for help to all members. The following is Gaile's comment:
Wow! What a network!  Thank all of you for the help!  Y'all are better than Craigslist, more reliable and cheaper!  To those who tell me Assisted Living Homes do not help each other out, I say they have never encountered AALHA.  Over the past year, I have been more than impressed with the progress AALHA has made, and I am convinced that AALHA will be a driving force in the future of Assisted Living Homes in Arizona.  I am proud to be a member of AALHA.  Thank you again.
Gaile Dixon, Dream Catcher Assisted Living Homes

Another happy member:

AALHA is a well organized network. It is wonderful to note the communication between the members and the way they answer other members' requests. It is wonderful to be a member of AALHA  and I thank you all.
Marie Pierre, Bella Via Restoration

September - The Activity Source

The Activity Source helps senior citizens improve their quality of life through recreational activities and programs. One way to increase your census is by having a formal activity program. Lack of an activity program is a major determining factor when people choose large resort style facilities over resid ential homes. Involvement in activities is associated with decreased mortality rates, the slowing of functional decline, increased happiness and quality of life, and decreased rates of stress and depression.
Come to the September AALHA meeting and find out what the Activity Source has to offer your home. Karen Zeller, The Activity Source, 602-332-6091 or Karen@theactivitysource.com
